Dear Mrs. Wade, I have ordered Melody’s Gifts, as it just became known through a friend. Our lives have so many areas that are the same. I too live in Virginia. I have just recently come to the place that I feel I can tell Joe’s ( brain injury at birth ) story. He was born in 1964 in Danville, VA. Mrs. Wade Joe has a beautiful story of his life and struggles that need to be told. I have said many times, I was going to write this story for him, but life has a way of helping us delay the important things. He too went through the Glenn Doman Institute. I have always known God gave us Joe for a special reason and we as a family have realized many of those. I have just started some of the research for many of the dates and names I have long forgotten as Joe is now forty five and I am seventy three. I fear I have almost waited to long.
